Kids Yoga Class Ages 9-12

Kids will participate in yoga themed games, story telling and learn age appropriate relaxation techniques. They will have an opportunity to talk about emotions in a light hearted way and keeping their bodies healthy and safe. We will also explore more of the traditional yoga poses and stories that they came from. Relaxation techniques will look more like meditation, and some very basic learning of the yamas and niyamas explained at an age appropriate level. For example, practicing contentment, gratitude, self kindness.
