Claire Obermarck will be bringing Sedona’s monthly Traditional Storytelling Club ‘Ceilidh Corner’ to Facebook Live Stream!
Come help celebrate World Storytelling Day! This global event is held each year on March 20th to coincide with the spring equinox. This years theme is 'Voyages'.
Claire will weave a masterful story and take us the another world!
Claire is the former Chair, programmer and regular host of Edinburgh’s oldest formal Storytelling Club as well as sitting on the Directory & Forum of The Scottish Storytelling Centre.
Mentored by Master Storyteller David Campbell, Claire has appeared at festivals, public events and on the radio as well as working projects with archaeologists, historians and social workers.
She’s taught teachers how to tell stories as well as worked with young offenders, detached groups and addicts. She was even invited to tell a story to Scottish Parliament!
Performer & Storyteller Phil Oberholzer has been in love with stories and drama for as long as he can remember.
After studying theatre and performing regularly in the state of Maryland he has moved to AZ to expand his craft in the Sedona area.
As a public Storyteller Phil strives to prioritise the Story and the Listener in the traditional way.
He enjoys telling stories of all types from around the world and we are delighted to welcome him for this special occasion!
The word ‘ceilidh’ (kay lee) means simply to gather.
Traditional Storytelling grounds and heals naturally.
