If you're looking for an easy activity the whole family will enjoy or want to learn more about “sound bath” meditations, this is the perfect experience for you!
There are countless benefits from meditating: reduced anxiety, clearer state of mind, boosted immune system, better sleep, and so much more. While sitting still and calming your mind to mediate may sound easy, many people find it challenging to create a relaxing physical and mental space to do this. By playing our crystal singing bowls and fostering a relaxed environment at our mediation center, we’ve made meditating that much easier.
This guided meditation will take the form of a story. We will begin by explaining what mediation is, how sound is a very helpful mediation tool, and what instruments we’ll be using. Everyone will have the opportunity to learn to play the crystal singing bowls; making this mediation workshop more engaging for the whole family!
The whole experience will last 90 minutes. We will spend about 35 minutes discussing sound, meditation, and mindfulness practices. Then we will meditate together for about 35 minutes, and at the end we’ll spend about 20 minutes learning how to play the instruments and sharing our experiences.
